1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all hire and event services provided by Unit 6 AV Event Solutions Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to any customer (“you”, “your”). By booking or hiring equipment, you agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
We provide audio-visual hire, event production, crew, transport, installation, event management, and technical design services. Services are available to both trade and public clients within the UK.
3. Quotes & Bookings
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
A 10% deposit is required to confirm any booking. Work or hire will not commence until payment is received.
The remaining balance must be paid prior to delivery or on collection unless agreed otherwise in writing.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the agreed start date will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date will be charged in full.
In exceptional cases, partial refunds may be considered at our discretion.
5. Hire Period
The hire period begins when equipment leaves our premises or is delivered to your site and ends when it is returned or collected.
Any extension of the hire period must be agreed upon in writing. Late returns may incur additional charges.
6. Delivery, Collection & Setup
Equipment can be collected from our HQ or delivered and installed by our team as agreed in advance.
You must ensure clear access to the site and provide adequate time for setup and de-rig.
Any delays caused by site inaccessibility or client readiness may result in additional labour charges.
7. Responsibility & Insurance
Once equipment is in your possession, you are fully responsible for its care, use, and security.
Any loss, theft, or damage to equipment during the hire period is your responsibility and will be charged in addition to the hire fee.
You are advised to arrange suitable insurance cover for the duration of the hire.
8. Equipment Use
Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose by competent personnel.
You may not modify, repair, or move equipment without our written consent.
All electrical items are regularly tested and maintained. It is your responsibility to ensure safe operating conditions on-site.
9. Liability
We hold £10 million public liability insurance covering our operations, staff, and on-site activities.
Our liability to you is limited to the level of our insurance cover. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from delays, equipment failure, or event cancellations.
We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by misuse of equipment, unsafe site conditions, or actions outside our control.
10. Data & Privacy

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
